Works with the forms you already have

On Shopify, SpamShield is an app with a theme app embed. Everywhere else, one script tag protects the forms on your pages.

Platforms

• Shopify

  Install the app and turn on the SpamShield app embed in your theme editor. It covers the contact, newsletter and blog comment forms. No theme code to edit.

• WordPress

  Add the script tag with a header plugin or in your theme header. It hooks the forms on the page, such as Contact Form 7 or WPForms.

• Wix

  Add the script tag under Settings, Custom Code.

• Squarespace

  Add the script tag under Code Injection, Header.

• Webflow

  Add the script tag under Project settings, Custom Code, Head.

• Plain HTML and frameworks

  Add the script tag to your pages or your root layout in React, Vue or Next.js. It also finds forms added after the page loads.

Custom forms and the API

On Pro and Enterprise you can call the REST API from your own code: send the form data and get back a spam score and the reasons. See the docs.

Webhooks and alerts

From Starter up, SpamShield can send a webhook when it blocks a message. There are ready-made templates for Slack, Discord and Microsoft Teams.
